My Story

Hey there, I'm AJ – a former bartender who made a pretty drastic career shift into the realm of health coaching. Quite the change, right? My journey into health started when I found myself carrying an extra 30 pounds during the COVID-19 pandemic. My initial goal was simple – shed the weight and get back to my "original lifestyle."

That's when I stumbled upon the ancestral diet, and it caught my attention immediately. No calorie counting, no restrictions – just the simplicity of eating how our ancestors did. Fast forward four years, and what started as a weight loss mission has become a full-fledged lifestyle. Not only have I reaped the physical benefits, but my mental well-being has also seen a significant boost.

I've been in the fitness industry for a decade and worked as a yoga instructor for the last couple of years. It's hard not to notice people hitting the gym, working tirelessly, and yet not getting the results they hoped for.

In 2023, I decided to take my passion to the next level. I completed my certification through the Primal Health Coach Institute and created "Not Too Sweet" Nutrition Coaching. It's a no-nonsense, straight-forward program rooted in the ancestral way of nutrition.
